Using a SB Dunk Low as a base, Nike SB drew up inspiration from one of the many famous cartoon characters created by Chuck Jones, Marvin the Martian.To bring together the Marvin theme the shoes were constructed using green suede to represent Nike Dunk High Tweed –Black-White -Grey skirt and helmet, black perforated leather to of course go along with Marvin’s skin, and a mustard yellow leather Swoosh and heel tab which both feature a crater like pattern to honor Marvin the Martian’s home planet, Mars. The same pattern also appears on the inner lining, without the texture to it of course. Marvin is also noted to be wearing a red shirt and red tights, so it wouldn’t be a completed design without the red outsole, red Nike branding and red laces which come alongside a pair of white laces.What is known as the Ms.
Womens Nike Dunk High features a neon pink and neon blue with neon yellow piping. A splash of black is also thrown in around the ankle and on the lace tabs as well. Even though many people and shops are dubbing them the Ms. Pacman SB Dunks a lot of people have also referred to them as the Fruity Pebbles Nike SB Dunks due to the resemblance to the cereal.Since its a quickstrike release you wont find these at every Nike SB retailer so grab a pair now on eBay or start calling around to check on availability.This is big news for all of you who have taken a lot of interest in the Womens Nike Dunk High which were created by Revive Customs.
