As we have reported before these Nike Blazers carry a design which mimics the football helmets of the Ohio State Buckeyes. The sneakers feature a silver/chrome upper which has been designed to appear scuffed up like a football helmet. Grey suede is used on the toe, lace panels and heel tab. Numerous round logos of a football helmet with two dumbbells crisscrossing behind it are included throughout the heel section of the upper. Accenting the all otherwise grey/silver sneakers is a red sole unit.The Copper Foamposites are so much a fan favorite that they’ve inspired numerous brands and individual artists to capitalize off the sneakers and feed off the energy.
We’ve come across quite a few t-shirts honoring the shoes, some of which we’ve showed you over the past couple of days and now we’ve been provided with some images of a custom Nike Blazer inspired by the Nike Blazer High white gold red leather, the brains behind the adidas Superstar “Refresh STR” and the Nike Blazers just hit us up with some shots of what he calls the Copper Penny Blazers.The Nike Blazer High seen here is part of a ‘Nintendo Wii’ Pack which Nike will release this Summer. Since the design is inspired by the Nintendo Wii Nike designed the Blazers with an all white upper with an orange outline around the lace panels and Men’s Nike Blazers to resemble the color the power button turns on the Wii when the unit is off. A blue tinted clear sole unit repersents the color the power button turns with the system is powered on.
The heel tab on the Blazers features Nike in metallic silver with a touch of ostrich print. The laces are similar to the Wii nunchuck, and the lace eyelets contain a microchip print under a translucent panel. Finally the tongue finishes up the Nike Blazers nod with the power symbol.If you wanted to pick these up heres your chance and you better not delay due to their quickstrike status.
