Of course we are big fans of both the Nike Dunk and the Nike Blazers as well, but the Nike Blazer just has something really special going for it that the other two don’t seem to share. Maybe it is the chunky and simple sole or just the overall simplicity of the shoe, but there is definitely something special going on here. Today we are going to be looking at the latest version of the shoe, this is the new Nike Blazer Mid in anthracite, black and electric green.We saw this particular Nike Blazer a short time ago.
We’ve come to learn though, that in addition to the pair for the kiddies, Nike’s also released the shoes in men’s sizes, which are now available through Sneaker Bistro. The Nike Blazer Mid consists of a white leather base featuring perforated side panels, a smooth black leather Swoosh with red contrast stitching, and additional accents of red on the textile lining and heel tab, and rubber toe guard along the midsole.I have always been a shoe fanatic but after discovering several shoe customizers or artists, I was inspired to try my hand at it. The Nike Blazer Mid design was probably the easiest of the process. I choose a Monochromatic design inspired by an earlier project from the semester.I also decided to experiment with simultaneous contrast. I also decided to design a with a point of emphasis in mind, the Nike Swoosh.
