Nike Dunk SB Mid Mama Bear

The second shoe from the Nike Dunk SB Mid Mama Bear. It too was released on 11-24-06 alongside the Low and High top versions Nike Dunk High Premium SB (3 Bears). A light umber and watermelon color-way was featured on the Nike Dunk SB Mid Mama Bear version.

The Nike Dunk SB Mid Mama Bear is part of the Three Bears pack/collection. The colors are by James Keoni Arizumi and they feature a light green suede upper with fur on the toe box, quarter panels, and around the heel of the shoe. The pink laces and Nike swoosh are nice accents, ad well as the yellow outsole. They also feature pink contrast stitching throughout the shoe. The inner sole of the shoe features a picture of the mama bear, which is a nice addition. This shoe is very flashy, it is still a Nike SB, meaning that it has a thick padded tongue and Zoom Air insoles for added cushioning.

Definite head-turners, the mid-top Dunk of the Three Bears Pack, the Mama Bears, are the most vibrant of the pack with their suede lime green uppers and hot pink swoosh.  Like the other two sneakers of the pack, they feature a material resembling bear fur on the toe and side panel, and have a clean yellow outsole.  Note that the pack was released alongside matching Three Bears Bearbrick toys produced by Kubrick based in Japan.  A picture of the Bearbrick toy can be seen on the insole of the shoe.

The Three Bears Pack(Mama Bear) is 1 out of 3 styles of limited release sneakers that have the bear on the insole of the sneaker. These are mid top meant to be the Mama Bear. Part of the highly anticipated 3 Bears series from Nike and Medicom, this SB is inspired from the Bearbrick series by Medicom themselves. The series features a high, mid and low cut Dunk SB, each one with their own unique colorway. Very exclusive and rare, this shoe is definitely a must have.
