Nike SB will once again be releasing an Australia exclusive Dunk Low, a few years ago Nike SB had released the “Homer” Dunk Low’s only in Australia and now they will be releasing another special pair but this time inspired by the city of Melbourne and Flinders Street Station. The Dunk Low comes in Varsity Royal and Metallic Vegas Gold with a number of different materials including canvas, suede, and mesh. The inspiration comes from Melbourne’s Finder Street Station and the “Gold Rail” that has been one of the more infamous skate spots down under. The Blue used on the shoe is a representation of Port Phillip Bay while the Brown midsole is a representation of the Yurra River.

Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Melbourne Gold Rail is inspired by a skate spot in Melbourne called the Flinders Street Station. This Nike Dunk Low construction is quite unique as they put to use several materials at once including canvas, suede, and mesh. The Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Melbourne Gold Rail sport a varsity royal and metallic Vegas gold colorway. Their nickname stems from Melbourne’s Finder Street Station and the Gold Rail, which is one of the more well known skating spots there. The color scheme is also representative of features in Australia. The brown midsole represent the Yurra River while the blue is meant to be Port Phillip Bay. With double and triple stitching being the standard in the skateboarding shoe industry, Nike made the Dunks SB much stronger than tradional dunks.
