Nike Dunk High Premium Varsity Maize Total Orange

Once the prototypical shoe of the sneaker world, the Nike Dunk High model has seen a bit of the back burner this year, receiving far fewer new colorways than in years past. Perhaps the pool of possible color combinations is simply drying up — if you’re wondering why they look so familiar, the front of the shoe features a toe/tongue virtually identical to that of the Goldenrod/Iowa colorway. The White midpanel and Total Orange heel do mix things up a little bit, the latter of which is accented with some faux-quilting similar to what we saw earlier this month, but I’m still not too excited about them.

Such a classic silhouette can never tire. The Nike Dunk is seen in another new colorway, how long they can keep this going is beyond me. Varsity maize and total orange cover the sneaker along with white and black. Smooth and perforated leather are used to create even more of a patchy dynamic on the shoe. When checking out the new Nike Dunk High Premium in Varsity Maize and Total Orange, we have one advice for sneakerheads: Cop them if you rock them. Not for people who prefer toned-down kicks, these High Premiums are in a vivid varsity maize and total orange colorway. Adding in to the plethora of colors are black and blue accents. The kicks feature perforated side panels, white midsole and the varsity maize outsole. These kicks just shout unique and definitely for the brave dresser. With a differently coloured cousin on the way in about a month, the latest Nike Dunk High Premium has made its way to retailers. Like that other pair we showed you in our Fall 2009 Nike Dunk preview, these have a perforated grid on the side panels and quasi-quilting on the rear quarter/heel. Yellow, orange and white scream summer, but the supposed no-no combo of navy blue and black tone things down just a bit. This time its a Nike Dunk High Premium using a four toned colorway with some interesting details. The frontal, lace panels and Nike Swoosh are all finished in premium varsity maize leather with the toe-box in black premium leather. The mid-panel is white perforated leather with the ankle panel white premium leather. The heel panel accents the whole design in total orange with tonal stitching detailing used throughout the paneling. Wrapping up the sneakers is a blue inner lining, a white mid-sole and a varsity maize outsole. After being at the forefront of sneakers for years, the Nike Dunk has taken a back seat this year with the heavy emphasis Nike has placed on the Air Max line. This Fall, Nike is set to release more Dunk colorways, but, the Air Max will still be the sneaker. Included within their Fall lineup of sneakers is the Varsity Maize/Total Orange Nike Dunk High. The Varsity Maize/Total Orange Nike Dunk High features the toe/tongue colorway and blocking from the Iowa/Goldenrod Dunk mixed with a perforated White midpanel, a Total Orange stitched heel/wings, and a White smooth leather ankle.

Obviously, the soon-to-be-released A.R.C. x Nike Dunk Hi Supreme TZ is the Dunk Hi model receiving the most attention at this point, and rightfully so. However, we have now spotted a very, vivid colored Nike Dunk High shoes that may sneak past your radar in regards to the aforementioned A.R.C collaboration.

This particular shoe can potentially be a favorite amongst Golden State Warriors’ fans due to its colorway. It features a plethora of bright colors throughout the base including varsity maize, total orange, black and blue. Other features include heavily perforated side panels, a white midsole and a varsity maize outsole. Its materials, which include premium leather and quasi-quilting on the rear/heel panel, also bring a unique vibe to its overall look.
