2010 is going to be a good year for Nike Dunks lineup. Theres going to be a lot of 80s related themes such as the Ferris Buller edition Dunk among others. To go along with the other hot SBs coming our way we have a preview here of a Nike Dunk which appears to be inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. The colorway includes a combo of charcoal, green and a tad bit of purple. No pictures have come up of the insoles of these sneakers, nor has Nike SB officially said these are related to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You cant deny though that the colors are an obvious match and with Nike Dunks paying respect to the 80s babies it appears these go with the popular cartoon at the time, TMNJ. This Nike Dunk High Premium Marge Simpson features an entirely blue colorway with the front half and back half made up of hyper blue leather. The mid-panels feature an interesting woven like nylon pattern which appears to change from different shades of blue depending on the direction of light. The only hit of a secondary color other then blue comes in the form of white Nike branding on the tongue tag.Not all to long before his death in August DJ AM posted a message on his Twitter informing all his fans he had gotten together with Nike to design his very own pair of Nike Dunks, a pair to be put into production and released to the public. The sneakers instantly caught the interest of many with its unique design elements inspired by a Techniques turntable, along with the official branding on Nike Blazer High himself. And, it’s unfortunate to say it, and that is had to be this way, but with the passing of Nike Blazer High the sneakers gained even more hype then they would have if he was still alive.Thanks to High Snobiety we now have a nice clear side profile view of the Nike Dunk High.The shoes use a mix of five different colorways with royal blue on the frontal and heel panel, and black on the toe-box, mid-panels and around the ankle.
