Nike has defiantly surprised us with the Nike blazers over the years. From strapless velcro models to designs which incorporate the use of a belt to vulcanized versions, the classic basketball silhouette from 1972 has received a number a makeovers, some more welcomed then others. This time though Nike didn’t add anything unusual to the sneakers, instead they played with the shaping of the paneling on the upper to create a rather unique looking Women's Nike Blazers.While majority of the kids out there dread the day school begins it does bring some positive things, such as a new Women's Nike Blazers.

Featured here is one of the sneakers which will be included in the new pack for the school season of 2009/2010, a pair of Nike Blazers known as the Scantron Blazers. Sporting a grey and black colorway the Blazers consist of a design displaying scantron/test forms throughout the paneling of the upper with the heel tab having an area for your name and address. Finishing up the Scantron Nike Blazers is a school house design on the tongue which has appeared on previous releases in the Womens Nike Blazer Low Blue Yellow Green pencil up the heel spine.The Nike Blazer ‘Scantron’ will be released just as a GS release and will only be available in kids sizes. No details on an official release date have been announced at this time but they should be hitting retailers shortly before the school year begins.

Starting off with a glossy white patent leather base, Nike reworked the black leather strip around the toe to come up into a point in the center, sort of making it look like something you would see on dress shoes of some sort. Black leather was then continued up the lace panels and out back onto the heel with fin-like shapes stitched into the paneling half-way up the lace panels and just above the Nike Blazers. Last but not least is a dab of purple on the lining and tongue tag branding.The last Blazer High we took a look at featured an outlandish design, reworking the shapes of the paneling throughout the upper to create one of the most original looking Women's Nike Blazers in the recent months. Or even years at that.You can only bring something like that out once in awhile though, so for their Blazer release for the month of May, Nike transformed the sneakers back to their classic styling that so many have come to love.
